Learn The Banana
We have prepared an orientation video and some reference material for you to get started.
Step #1:
Setting Up
Shuffle the yellow cards and black cards separately. Deal seven yellow cards to each player. Now, choose a Banana Inspector.
Step #2:
Playing A Round
The Banana Inspector flips the top card over from the black deck and reads it aloud. The other players try to complete the black card by selecting a yellow card from their hands and giving it to the Banana Inspector. Once all players have made a selection, the Banana Inspector reads the yellow cards aloud and chooses their favorite response. The player who played the Banana Inspector’s favorite response wins the black card. The round is now over.
Step #3:
Ending Game
To start the next round, everyone draws a new card from the yellow deck and the player who won the previous round becomes the new Banana Inspector. Once a player has collected five black cards, the game is over and that player is crowned as the Top Banana.

Each big banana box contains 238 RIPE family-friendly cards for ages 12+, PLUS an extra 64 ROTTEN not-family-friendly cards for mature players!, Oh, and there’s a bonus recipe card for the best banana bread!

Rotten Bananas for 17+
Inside each big banana box comes a sealed ROTTEN deck containing 6 black question cards and 58 yellow answer cards that can optionally be mixed into the RIPE cards to make the game not so family-friendly.
Be warned! ROTTEN cards have adult themes and use strong language. They can be lots of fun to play with the right, mature group! Parental discretion is advised.
