We’ve designed it so that you can play with anyone. Stuck with the family? Use the base cards to have a wholesome, tubular time! Then add in the extra rotten cards from the black box for when you’re ready to get absolutely Squazzed.

Because we roll the rules loose and off the cuff, Fanatics Gone Bananas can turn into a shot fiesta in a matter of minutes. Hardly any set up is required. Just make sure everyone has a glass, deal the cards, and start drinking playing.

Follow These Guidelines Heel-To-Toe

. . . As best as you can, anyway. Here’s a list of all the different ways you can turn Fanatics Gone Bananas into an insane drinking game.

Naturally, everyone should start by taking one drink together. This’ll help get all your bananas in the same blender, if you know what we mean.

1. Stick to the game’s rules. Whenever your card doesn’t get chosen by the prompt-reader, drink. This means most of you will be drinking every round. If you’re all trying to turn your brains into banana pudding in just a few rounds, this is the way to go.
2. If you only want one person to drink at a time, make the prompt-reader choose a card to be in “last place.” Everyone else stare intensely at the “loser” of the round while they take their drink.
3. You could also have the winner of a round drink. This might be a way to “nerf” a good player that’s on a win-streak.
4. Try not to laugh. Play like normal, but a giggle means a guzzle. The great thing about this is that things snowball quickly. The more you drink, the more you laugh. Unless you’re my uncle, who just gets angry. Don’t be like him.
5. Only the prompt-reader drinks, right before reading everyone’s cards. Maybe that dumb card you played will actually work after a shot, eh?
