Best Games Like Cards Against Humanity

You need a game that hits that Cards Against Humanity vibe, but either with less of that immature humor, or at least a fresh take on the concept. We’ve got you covered.

Monikers

Monikers is charades-like and markets itself as “a dumb party game that respects your intelligence.” You set up into teams, with each one having a clue-giver trying to guide the rest to guess the right name on the card.

But the names, these monikers, if you will… They’re not what you expect from an average game of Celebrities. In this game, we have titles such as “Drunk Jeff Goldblum,” “A furry,” and even “Mansplaining” (which is what I’m doing to you right now, sorry).

Every round of Monikers makes it harder on the clue-giver, who starts off first being able to say anything except the name itself, and ends up only being able to use charades. Much like a night alone with my intrusive thoughts, the excitement never ends!

There are even multiple expansions that you can explore on the game’s website!

Fanatics Gone Bananas

Do you want Cards Against Humanity with an option to turn off the crude humor? How about a version with unique themes, such as an escape room edition? Play Fanatics Gone Bananas!

This game takes the classic formula of prompts-and-punchlines and makes it more modular. The regular cards are ripe, perfect to play for all ages and tastes! The rotten cards are all tucked away in a separate box, letting you dictate how fresh you want your fruit to be!

Have a bunch of laughs with your copy of Fanatics Gone Bananas today!

The Game Of Things

What if, when you played Cards Against Humanity, you could create your own responses instead of playing the same ‘auto-win’ cards over and over again? (Yes, we all love being a motherf***** sorcerer, we get it.)

The Game Of Things offers just that experience! One player reads a prompt, and everyone else writes a response. Then, players take turns guessing who wrote what! Not only is it a game of comedy, but also one of reading people and defying expectations. And so much more. I guess you could say this really is a game. . . of things.

This game even has some expansions, and a nasty edition, all of which you can peruse on their website!

Number of Players: 4 – 15

Funemployed

Have you ever thought about how fun applying to a job could be? No? Well, for some reason, Funemployed has! And they make it work!

Much like Cards Against Humanity, the game has a prompt-reader. In this game, however, they’re listing a job. The players each have qualifications in the form of response cards. These could be any sort of qualifications, such as “dragon,” or “rock.”

Everyone takes a turn to list their qualifications and then persuade the prompt-reader to hire them. The job market has never been this competitive, though it probably has been as ridiculous. Funemployed is a game you’ll want to play from 9 to 5!

Number of Players: 3 – 20
